The GLOW CLEANER is a water-based, mild cleaning spray for all smooth leathers. Dirt, grease and make-up stains are safely removed thanks to natural extracts from orange peel, soya, cereals and plants, leaving the leather supple.

The rich GLOW CONDITIONER Balm provides your bag with the rich nutrients and deep-acting care that the leather needs to withstand future wear and tear. Treat your favourite accessory to this little care treatment after every cleaning and in between

Application

IMPORTANT: Test on an inconspicuous area before first use.

Step 1: Spray bag with GLOW CLEANER and wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth. For deeper dirt, leave it to act briefly and, if necessary, work it in gently with a soft brush, then wipe off any residue.

Step 2: Apply GLOW CONDITIONER Balm evenly and thinly with a soft, lint-free cloth and massage in gently.

From the idea to a care solution

It all started with my Chanel bag.
I loved it, wore it for years - and then ruined it with conventional leather care. The leather turned grey, dull and somehow sticky.
I was disappointed - and also really angry. I was disappointed with products that promise to care for everything made of leather but are completely unsuitable for sensitive bag leather.
I couldn't find a solution - so I developed one myself: GLOWBAG, inspired by facial cosmetics. Mild, alcohol-free, moisturising - perfect for designer bags.

Answers to the most frequently asked questions

What distinguishes Glowbag from conventional leather care?

The formulation of Glowbag is inspired by high-quality facial care: water-based, free from wax, alcohol and aggressive chemicals. As a result, the care is gently absorbed without leaving any residue or sealing the leather. In contrast to conventional leather care - which is usually developed for shoes, furniture or car seats - Glowbag is specially designed for fine handbags. Other products often contain wax, alcohol or harmful substances and are intended for differently treated leather, which is sealed more robustly and has to fulfil other requirements.

What types of leather is Glowbag suitable for?

Glowbag was specially developed for delicate smooth leather such as lambskin, calfskin or caviar leather - ideal for high-quality handbags and designer brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès or Dior. Coated canvas can also be gently cleaned and cared for with Glowbag. Glowbag is not suitable for open-pored leather types such as suede, suede, nubuck or exotic leather (e.g. genuine crocodile or snake leather).

Can I use Glowbag for vintage Chanel bags?

Yes, Glowbag was originally developed for the care of delicate vintage bags such as the Chanel Classic Flap. The conditioner acts like a moisturising anti-ageing cream for leather - without leaving any residue or shine. Especially for older models with visible signs of dryness, we recommend regular use to keep the leather supple and visibly revitalise it. In such cases, the conditioner is sufficient - we do not recommend using the cleaner in addition.

Is Glowbag also suitable for vachetta leather?

Vachetta is an untreated, open cowhide that develops a natural patina over time through light, air and touch. It reacts very sensitively to moisture - even a drop of rain can leave permanent visible stains. For new bags, we recommend a dry impregnation spray to prevent water marks. Already aged vachetta with patina can be carefully cleaned and cared for with Glowbag - it is important to apply it evenly over the entire surface. Stains can be minimised and a more even appearance can be achieved - however, complete removal is not possible.

How often should I use Glowbag - and for how many applications is one set sufficient?

We recommend cleaning and conditioning your bag every 4-8 weeks - depending on use, weather and leather type. One Glowbag Duo contains 100 ml each of cleaner and conditioner and is sufficient for approx. 20-30 complete applications - depending on the size of your bag. Ideal for bag lovers with several favourite pieces - or for intensive care over many months. And if you need to care for a pair of leather sandals in between: Don't worry - it will last even longer 😉.

Sehr hochwertiges Produkt, mit dem ich mich auch a das empfindliche Leder von Luxus Taschen getraut habe. Das beiliegende weiße Tuch spricht Bände, wieviel Schmutz auf dem Leder war. Bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden.

Es wird schon sehr viel Cleaner benötigt bis man wirklich eine grössere Handtasche oder Speedy/ Keepall etc benetzt haben, sodass das Mittel wirken kann. Bei wirklich VintageTaschen habe ich eine Reinigung festgestellt. Bei meinen eigenes gekauften Taschen auch wenn sie über 10 Jahre alt waren, war nicht mal das weisse Microfasertuch dreckig. Der Conditioner ist gut, wobei eine echte Pflege für Vanchetta vermutlich noch besser wäre. Die Produktpalette lässt sich hier noch gut erweitern, bevor es der Mitbewerb tut, der aktuell auch nicht schläft. Das Marketing ist gut, authentisch da nicht perfekt - sehr sympathisch. Besser so als gekaufte Schauspieler.

Die Tasche selbst funktioniert gut und wird recht sauber, was positiv ist. Allerdings verliert die Bürste ziemlich viele Haare – das ist wirklich ärgerlich. Außerdem finde ich den Preis etwas zu hoch, da es günstigere Alternativen gibt, die sehr ähnlich sind. Insgesamt okay, aber nicht perfekt.
